Creating App Shortcuts

This feature only works on iOS systems.

Step 1: Open the Shortcuts App

After downloading your shortcut icons, open the Shortcuts app.

Step 2: Create a New Shortcut

Tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Choose the “Open App” Action

In the search bar, type "Open App" and select it (you might find it in "next action suggestions" section). Tap "App" (highlighted in blue) and choose the app you want to customize.

If you want to create an icon shortcut for a planner; instead of typing "open app" in the search bar, type the name of the planner and select it. In my case, I chose my notebook.

Step 4: Name the Shortcut

Enter the shortcut name for easier recognition.

Step 5: Customize the Shortcut Icon

1. Tap the "information icon" at the top of the screen.

2. Select "Add to Home Screen."

3. Tap the photo icon and choose "Choose Photo".

Step 6: Add to Home Screen

Tap "Add" in the top-right corner to place the new icon on your Home Screen.
